Turo came to my life and it is being my favorite app! So useful, so practical, so smart! A New age idea that came true to help people life, making it easy for that ones that need a car for one day, or for a trip, and also helping that ones that have an extra car. Thanks Turo!
For an unlimited amount of occasions, Turo is the perfect cost effective way to get around. I stumbled upon Turo visiting San Fransisco on my honeymoon. Planning the day, it was impossible to do all the things we wanted to in our short amount of time. There were to many options we walked around the corner to a great car that we used and even had time to spare at the end of the day for a movie at the cinema. This app is going to be huge and I think I will put my car on it too!
Great app! Love using Turo whenever I want to ride in something slick! Or whenever I just need a certain type of vehicle to use.
No issues! Cant wait for this Turo to take off so more deals can be had.

Some bad moments

I dont understand why the idiot Canadians charge 199$ for a freaking dodge dart. Rent any where except in Toronto. Turo should ban idiot canadians
My ride was canceled days before Christmas, which made it impossible to find another vehicle. If I was to cancel I would have to pay a fee to the driver, I however was left stranded and could not make it to see my family for Christmas. Do not depend on this if you actually need to be somewhere.
My booking was cancelled last minute and I couldnt find another vehicle over Christmas because everywhere else was booked!!! :(
Worst insurance. Did a insurance claim since a robber broke one of the windows. The insurance company took care of it and determined I was 0% responsible. Turo still decided to charge me 450$ to cover the repairs that the insurance company covered. Ive contested this charge with my credit card. The service was horrible, they never explained why they were charging me, never answered the phone and no info. Make sure not to count on their insurance if anything happens.
They charge your card without telling you you havent been approved then when they deny you they wont tell you why and wont communicate with you over phone and stop emailing back. I have to wait 5-7 days to get my money back and still have no idea why I was denied. Seems too good to be true because it is! This company is unprofessional and a scam!
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER. Will never use again. First of all, your credit card free insurance wont apply because Turo isnt considered a rental company. You have to buy their expensive daily insurance to stay covered. Collision on luxury car might bankrupt you. Secondly, their customer service attitude was horrible. I decide to close my previous account and open a new one, then I was treated like Im a fraud trying to steal their referral money. All kinds of discrimination and humiliation. Come on, its just $25 referral. I couldnt rent a f*cking Jetta with that money. I emailed their customer service and they came up with all ridiculous instructions and forced me to take picture of all sensitive ID like credit card and so. I didnt feel comfortable. Most ridiculous part was one of their customer service asked me to do a selfie holding my driver license, which was quite humiliating. Who the hell looks exactly like their DL pics? So much sh*t happened during the conversation and they couldnt verify my credit card because my girlfriend had a dependent card sharing the same card number. Unbelievable. And after 3 days they passed my new account, they suddenly decided to close it again. Unbelievable +1 Advice: go for a real rental company for your business! You will get much much better service and package than Turo. Check on other reviews here and you will see this issue clearly. Do your math, you have to spend almost the same much money in Turo in order to get similar service as Avis, Sixt or Enterprise. They all have luxury rentals too. Plus much much better customer service and better coverage. Do the math, dont get fooled by the low price listing cars. They all hide bloody tricks behind.
