Turo - Find your drive App Reviews

Ive rented from multiple car rental agencies before and Turo is by far the best option. No pre auths which have taken as long as 10 days to be put back on my credit card from previous rental companies. Recommending this app to anyone who rents or owns a car.

Just rented my car for the first time. Turos app makes it really to do. The UX is smart and theres very little that the website can do that the app cant. Really easy to share your car on social media too!

If youre a car guy, youll never have to rent from any rental companies ever again! Not only was this service excellent, a lot of cool cars are available for people to enjoy. The app can be quite slow sometimes and uploading pictures can be cumbersome by a 1 at a time approach, but overall great app. I definitely will continue to use this app when I travel.

It was easy to use. Definitely recommend this site for anyone who wants a different experience then from a traditional rental.

When I showed up late to my first car rental appointment. The jeep owner had left! I contacted Turo and in according with their cancellation policy the car owner gets to keep the payment. Turo however offered me a partial refund for their coverage of the service. I still dont think the cancelation policy is just but I appreciate Turo support. Will use App again for sure.

My ride was canceled days before Christmas, which made it impossible to find another vehicle. If I was to cancel I would have to pay a fee to the driver, I however was left stranded and could not make it to see my family for Christmas. Do not depend on this if you actually need to be somewhere.

Great alternative to traditional car rental companies. The value is incomparable. My only complaint is that I didnt receive approval or responses from quite a few attempted bookings. That hiccup aside, once I found an amazing host with multiple vehicles and many positive reviews, the experience was unbeatable! I cant wait for Turo to come to Manitoba Canada, so I can rent or even start hosting at home.

This app is amazing for renting cool cars for a day or two. I really hope it moves into BC, Canada so I can offer cars to rent.

First time with Turo and certainly not the last time! We really enjoyed our experience. Its friendly user, easy to communicate with the person who rent his/her car. The car you see on the picture is exactly the same as we had during our trip. Just make sure you keep your receipt! Louis.

Great idea and app works well. As with any of these kind of things only as good as the people who use it, we found some people didnt reply so it can take a while to confirm the rental

My booking was cancelled last minute and I couldnt find another vehicle over Christmas because everywhere else was booked!!! :(

Easy to browse, app UI is great. I guess this often can fall on how good the person is thankfully my 1st experience was excellent and will use again!

Worst insurance. Did a insurance claim since a robber broke one of the windows. The insurance company took care of it and determined I was 0% responsible. Turo still decided to charge me 450$ to cover the repairs that the insurance company covered. Ive contested this charge with my credit card. The service was horrible, they never explained why they were charging me, never answered the phone and no info. Make sure not to count on their insurance if anything happens.

The Turo service is great and I used it for the first time when traveling overseas to California. Great cars. The app itself has lots of features and is generally good at all things, however on roaming 3G networks, posting pictures in the dashboard or messaging the owner can take up to a minute to resolve which can be frustrating. If the developers focus on making the app lightweight, this would really help. Love the service though and Ill be using it again. Found the prices to be 1/2 to 1/3 a normal rental agency especially where premium cars were concerned. Going forward I also hope pickup is a bit easier and that Turo can get their parking lots at the rental car lot and not off-site as was the case with LAX. The extra fees for actual curbside pickup seemed hidden until you read the details.

Booked the car already twice, works like a charm. One remark for the app itself - would love to see mass photo upload, not one by one.
